Amelia had to visit the hospital again today to get her blood drawn for another jaundice test. We just got a call with the results: she's down from where she was two days ago, and is just barely above normal levels. The doctor says that we're on the right track and to keep doing what we're doing.

She did surprisingly well, didn't even cry while they were taking her blood! (She did, however, get her revenge twice in the following hour. It's a good thing we brought a spare onesie.)

Today was Amelia's first doctor's appointment, just one day after she left the hospital. The reasoning for it was that she's a little jaundiced, and they want to keep an eye on things to make sure that she doesn't get worse.

She's eating well, she's pooping well, she's sleeping well; all indications point to her being a healthy little girl! The nurse practitioner we saw today agrees as well.

We're heading back again tomorrow to once again make sure everything is moving in the right direction. We know that Amelia won't mind, though. She seems to love car rides!
